How we serve YOU

Food Scrap
Collections

We provide the containers, collections and expertise to get you composting in the kitchen and the cafeteria. We offer rolling carts and small dumpsters depending on your needs. Training for staff is included in our service.

Educational Resources

Food Sharing &
Food Recovery

We've developed a free resource guide to engage staff and students on food waste reduction. It includes links to curriculum resources for all grade levels to connect what's going on in the cafeteria to the classroom.

Making sure that food can be eaten is more important than composting. We work with food recovery agencies in all of our service areas and can you connect you to their important services. Additionally, we can provide guidance on how to set up food sharing in your cafeteria.

Compliance with State Laws

Commercial Organics Laws in states like Connecticut and Massachusetts require compliance for schools that generate 1/2 ton per week or more of food waste. Hiring Blue Earth Compost will make sure that you are in line with state requirements.
