We're excited to release our Food Waste Reduction Guide. A comprehensive (yet skimmable), guide to how you can reduce food waste within your organization. It takes you through all the possible activities, from reducing waste from occurring in the first place, donation, and composting options. Each reduction method includes explanations, strategies, educational activities, and resources for learning more.
The guide is designed with a special eye towards schools, but can be used for any type of organization. It was made possible due to a grant from the non-profit ReFED and guidance and contributions from many great organizations across the US that are working hard to address food waste. There are too many to name here, but they are referenced in the guide itself.
